I'm in the middle of an out-of-state move but I am looking forward to documenting new low-tech tank setups in the new house. I rehomed my platies and rummynose tetras and currently have one plakat betta in a planted 10g and one goldie in a 170g pond (more friends coming once we're settled). I still prefer dirted tanks after finally testing out aquasoils.

I have two shepherds and I love dog training for fun and sanity. I had a massive reactive dog as my teacher and a series of great force-free trainers and vet behaviorists. One dog is smart, one dumb. Works in progress.
I make and teach art as my day job. I like to teach (kids, adults, undergrads, meseum docents, everyone) as much as I like to make art. I don't post my art here because it's identifying, but if you get really curious you can ask on the fediverse.

I'm a collapse-aware critter, but I see light coming through cracks and move towards that. How can I use the internet to help me see the light and the cracks, instead of learned helplessness? What would an internet that supports the nervous system look like?
To your left you'll find a link to my Are.na account - like pinterest but better - and my "link bucket" is a database of interesting links to things I've found. It's websites, art portfolios, hot takes, books tbr, with a sushi-menu-like guide for spicy/soothing content 𖦹
