A small quilted pillow using this weirdly anonymous video. Practicing throwing this block together a few times before I begin a bigger wall hanging. Shooting star fabric is from Ruby Star Society, the rest is thrifted.

My first baby quilt using this pattern again for the nine-patch stars. All fabric thrifted except the Mustard Beetle fabric, which was from a yard sale a block away.

A big (25x25"?) quilted pillow using this easy star-centered nine-patch pattern. I riffed off of the "star leg" blocks around it to fill in space and I am quite chuffed with it. It's made entirely from second-hand duvet covers and curtains.

I found a cool quilt template book from the 70s at Baltimore's Book Thing (where everything is free!) a few months ago, and I have been slowly clicking through this simple block pattern with a combination new, gifted, and thrifted fabric. The top is maybe half-complete?

I made this with no pattern, just a shirt that fits and this easy video! The fabric was a lucky drop at Scrap, a creative reuse shop here with good remnants of fabric. I have more of it to save for when I have better skills. The fabric pattern does a lot of heavy lifting and distracts from my many mistakes nicely.
