I'm a cis person in my late 30's. I work in the visual arts professionally - not tech - and I like antiquated printing methods. I own two printing presses. Union employee. I like to build and fix things. I'm mostly recovered from long covid and being sick for years cracked my life open in many ways, not all bad.

interests: cemeteries, local history, animal husbandry & aquariums, nervous system regulation

politically: a leftist who doesn't do purity culture for its own sake. I'm into good faith interactions on the 1:1 scale to change minds. I think more cis white people could take up this mantle since it's not possible for so many people. I know 1:1 good faith conversations can work because they pulled me out of some pretty alarming views, and I have the bandwidth and ability to pay it forward. I feel very strongly that we need a path for people to come back to the fold, because the other option is further radicalization.
